ExperienceThroughout my many life experiences, I have learned and grown through the help of mentors. This included coaches, friends, and teachers. They helped coach me in sporting activities, helped me be a better student in school, and helped me learn how to play musical instruments.Since I've been lucky enough to learn from many mentors during my lifetime, I have decided to give back to others in my career. I plan to do this by teaching and mentoring students. When I was 12 years old, I began working as a tutor. I have worked with children of various age levels, from grades 4-10. I have worked with students of all abilities and taught various subjects.I hope to teach my students so that they can learn and absorb more, but I also wish to inspire them. I have experience working with special needs students at camps, coaching various sports teams, and teaching a clinical bioengineering program to undergraduate level students. Currently, I'm in my third year of medical school. I wish to work on the development side in the primary care field. Soon, I will start a fellowship at Harvard Medical School. I hope to share some of the knowledge that I gain with my students.
