Bonjour, and welcome to my profile! While I can't follow the outline and put that I'm a French 4 double major at Harvard, I have taken enough years of AP French, and grown up in a traditional French speaking home surrounded by fluent natives of France, to make up for it. I am qualified, by personal experience, and collegiate knowledge to help you tackle all that is, the French language. As hard as you may think it is, I can guarantee you'll hate it less after just one tutoring lesson with me. Don't take my word though, see for yourself! Schedule a session :)
Experience
Again, most of the high and mighty titles are not mine to brag of. But, I am completely aware of the struggles and personal vexation that canaries when learning a new language. I was thrown into it at a young age when my family decided to join a volunteer bible teaching congregation that sought out those who spoke French. At the tender age of 8 I wasn't even half aware of what would turn into months of frustration and general bouts of loneliness due to my lack of grasping a language I wasn't brought up on. Those feelings came to a crescendo one day when I put my foot down and said 'no more'. I determined to no longer feel left out because the punchline was in a foreign tongue. I said no more to watching my favorite you-tuber/soccer extraordinaire and not understanding his catch phrase. I said I more to listening to a favorite artist of mine (Feist) and not comprehending the French lyrics I could regurgitate. I used that to fuel my own conquest of mastering French, and voila! Mastered it was. Now, as interesting as this story was, I'm sure, if you're this far into my profile you want to know what I can do for me, so enough about me. For you, I can offer an unbiased, judgement free ear. A swift, but tactful correction, and a rich glimpse into a culture and language so full of twists and turns and rules and renegade. I can only hope you allow yourself the chance to experience it with me.
