I am a full time teaching assistant in a writing intense class at a private school for classified students. I assist students in writing essays, as well as conduct some English and Health lessons of my own. My most recent English unit is on Science Fiction. Students will read a science fiction novel, participate in discussion of analyzing the text, have various written assignments to facilitate in reading comprehension, and write an academic paper at the end of the unit. Hobbies
I have a passion for seeing students succeed in reading and writing. Too often students are discouraged in their reading comprehension and writing abilities due to the constraints of standardized testing. I found writing to be enjoyable, and wish to bring that joy to students who otherwise struggle and do not enjoy reading and/or writing. Seeing students succeed and advance in writing is my mission. I am also a dance teacher. I teach tap classes for the competition team at the dance studio that I was a competition member of. Dance has, and always will be in my heart. Aside from teaching and dance, I enjoy keeping up with the latest fashion trends, spending time with my fiance and dog, visiting family, and taking care of my first home. Being a first time home owner is both exciting and unpredictable!
