Education: I have received a Bachelor of Science at The College of New Jersey in 2012 where I was a Neuroscience Major with a 3.85GPA overall and a 3.91 Science GPA. Currently, I am a Third Year Medical Student at Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine (current).
Experience
My love of teaching comes from a lifelong love of learning. As a third year medical student, I know that hard work and dedication to learning can and will absolutely pay off. During high school and college, I have had the pleasure of helping many students realize their own potential and actually see their grades and test scores improve through one-on-one private tutoring. I truly have a passion for teaching and helping students learn, especially since I have been in their shoes wanting to learn and be the best I could be. I specialize in tutoring math, English and science for success in school and on standardized exams. Being a medical student, I have a strong science background in biology, chemistry and physics as well. Whether we are working on solving x and y variables in algebra or learning about the human body, one of my goals for each session is to keep the student challenged, but not overwhelmed. In addition, I aim to build a student’s confidence by encouraging them to take the first step and remind them that learning can also be fun! I prefer one-on-one tutoring and enjoy engaging my students with fun and challenging problems. I hold myself to a high standard and for that reason, I often ask for feedback in order to help me constantly improve! In addition, I try to be flexible with time. While I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy, I offer makeup classes. Please contact me about any questions you may have!
