Experience
I have taught Language Arts (Reading and Writing) for the past 7 years. I have experience tutoring in grades 5-8 in these subjects. I also work for PARCC standardized testing with Pearson. I am trained to score all reading and writing tests for PARCC, as well as the HSE test. I want to be a tutor to help students succeed. Every student should get the help they need and I want to be the difference in making a student understand a concept. I have experience in inclusion classes as well, so I am well-versed in Special Education. I also taught honors English to 7th graders. In college, I took courses on Shakespeare and poetry, as well as many other writing and reading classes.
